Gap vs. American Eagle: Which Viral Denim Ad Won 2025?

Honestly, 2025 Denim has been an insane year for ads. Both the gap and the American Eagle left the campaign that went viral, but completely different ways. The ad of the gap was the indifferent -short -cut of the people in everyday life and wore his jeans. You saw children skateboard, go out into town, even families at home. It felt real, like "hey, it can be me." I think many people are associated with that mood.

American Eagle, however? Quite energy. His ad was tall, fast and fun. Tikok- and Instagram clips, memes and its inspired challenges were filled with challenges. Influencers danced, joked and friends tagged nonstops. You can't scroll for five minutes without seeing it somewhere. It was more about promotion than emotions, but it worked.

If you ask me which "lives" depends on what you care. The interval hit the heart - they made you feel something. American Eagle laughed and shared you immediately. Both got lots of attention, just in different ways.

At the end of the day, maybe not a single winner. They both proved that denim can still make waves, whether indifferent, humor, or just through clean energy on social media. And frankly, like someone who loves jeans, I'm glad we get two really creative campaigns this year.
